The afterlife is real - what the soul sees. About the afterlife - evidence from the history of people who see the other world

Death is the separation of the ethereal part of a living personality, the soul, from its material part - the body.
The soul is not subject to time... The soul can meet and talk with spirits, with the guardian spirit.
Plato, ancient Greek philosopher, V – IV centuries. BC.

When the question is asked: where were we before we were born, the answer is: in a system of slow development along the path of reincarnation with long rest intervals between them. Although it must be admitted that it is difficult to imagine that we are born forever. To the natural question, why don’t we remember these existences? - we can answer that such memories would endlessly complicate our present life.
Arthur Conan Doyle, English writer (1859 – 1930)

Where we return after each incarnation on Earth is the kingdom of love, tranquility, beauty and knowledge. It is always warm there - 25 degrees, neither hotter nor colder, there is no rain, snow, hail, ice, strong wind, and people, no matter what age they leave the world of the living, are always in the prime of life and health, always 30 years old.
“That Light” is not a mythical country somewhere in the sky - it is nearby, about a meter above the surface of the earth, but in a different dimension, and therefore is usually invisible. The relief is the same mountain ranges, plains, forests, rivers, oceans, islands, only without destruction, aging, dirt - as it was once created. There are not seven continents, but nine, because Atlantis, once lost in the Atlantic Ocean, and even Lemuria, which disappeared in the Pacific Ocean about forty million years ago, are thriving.
The other world, in short, is much more beautiful than a living person can imagine. And Francine, who has lived there for half a millennium, and Sylvia, who has been studying it for decades, told me about it in every detail.

Francine

A seven-year-old girl was peacefully combing her hair and playing with a flashlight, which suddenly flashed dazzlingly, and that bright white light sounded in a calm female voice: “The Lord sent me, Sylvia. Don't be afraid".
In horror, the girl rushed to look for her all-knowing grandmother. The old woman gently explained: it was her, Sylvia’s, Spiritual Guide, who would help her all her life.
For Sylvia, Francine soon became her closest companion and friend, a patient listener and teacher. And a guide in future journeys to the Other World.
In her earthly life, Francine was a woman from the Aztec Indian tribe and lived in a small village in the north of modern Colombia, but in 1520, for trying to protect her tiny daughter, she was stabbed to death by one of the Spanish conquerors.
As proof of her real existence, Francine one day decided to materialize: in a rocking chair, a blue dress with folds falling to the floor slowly began to appear, a hand with long thin fingers, black braids to the waist, huge dark eyes, a thin figure with olive skin...
Francine is always around, and people with paranormal abilities often ask: “Sylvia, who is that black-haired lady walking with you?” Or, during a lecture: “Why didn’t you introduce the tall woman who stood behind you?”

Silvia

On October 19, 1935, as an ordinary American, she was born in her 54th incarnation on Earth in Kansas City, Missouri. She inherited the innate gift of a medium, that is, an intermediary between a person and the unmanifested world, from her maternal grandmother.
Since childhood, Sylvia has seen the internal organs of people, learned about events that have not yet happened. Both dimensions overlapped each other and became equally real to her. “Normal, but with paranormal abilities” - this was the diagnosis the doctors gave her in response to the usual doubt in such cases: “Am I crazy?!”
Sylvia graduated from the University of San Francisco, and in 1974 founded the Center for Psychological Research, where she lectured and conducted scientific experiments, studying the intricacies of hypnosis. Including regressive, encouraging patients to remember what happened to them several years ago... at the time of birth... in a past life...
Incredible? It also seemed so to her when a visitor (she was treating him for excess weight) suddenly began talking about himself as a pyramid builder, soon switching to an incomprehensible language, which experts recognized as ancient Assyrian (it was spoken in Egypt in the seventh century BC).
The method of regressive hypnosis (regression - moving backwards) helped get rid of inexplicable fears and chronic illnesses caused by long-standing events, including in past incarnations, and Sylvia continued to use it. Many times, after careful checks, making sure the stories about past lives are accurate. Sylvia Brown also stopped questioning the incomprehensible details of what happened in the intervals between death in a past life and a new birth. There were many thousands of such stories, and they coincided among people of completely different ages, faiths, races, and cultures. Francine helped and continues to help her comprehend her new knowledge, answering in detail all questions about the Other World.
Sylvia’s own experience of clinical death and her astral travels “to the next world” turned out to be important confirmation. And also - testimonies of loved ones, colleagues and complete strangers who know how to make such trips.
The result of many years of research were the books she wrote, “Adventures of a Medium”, “Journey to the Other World and Back,” as well as the one that I hold in my hands and about which I have long wanted to talk about – “Beyond the Threshold of Death” with the subtitle “Travels of a Medium in the Afterlife.” to the world", published in Kharkov in 2000.
From the skeptics who explain all cases of communication with another world as hallucinations caused by oxygen deprivation, Sylvia Brown would really like to know how thousands of patients, employees, assistants, her son and granddaughter managed to endure oxygen deprivation without any of them even noticing it...

The way "there"

The first steps into the other world are now well known thanks to the stories of people who experienced clinical death, and completely coincide with the results of regressive hypnosis. By the way, if this method does not make mistakes in small things, there is a greater chance that it will not deceive in other things that are still hidden from official science.
So, the initial chain, repeated in almost all cases: death is a tunnel through which the soul that has left the physical body rushes... no, not into the sky, but at an angle of 20 - 25 degrees in the horizon, which, according to the author of the book, confirms the location of the House (it turns out that our true home is there, and not this sinful planet!) not high above the earth, but in another dimension invisible to us. Then - the feeling of eternity with the loss of the sense of time - a white light sparkling with absolute holiness and infinite knowledge. At the same time, the person does not lose consciousness and feels absolutely alive. A small clarification: dying children pass through a bridge instead of a tunnel - this makes it easier for them to navigate. Often during a “memory session,” like astral travelers, they see a thin, almost transparent thread that, flickering, stretches from the solar plexus and then disappears, going into another dimension.
Not all people, however, immediately find themselves in the Other World. Some turn away, refuse - because of fear or strong passion (love or hatred) that binds them to the Earth. This is how they become ghosts - dead men convinced that they are alive. It is not difficult to recognize them: the body is usually disfigured by traces of an illness, injury or burn that caused death, which a “full-fledged” spirit cannot have. Having wandered among the living for several days or centuries, ghosts will certainly then find their way to where they will feel good.
Those who are forever gone do not care about the things they valued on Earth, but they care about the well-being of those they loved not long ago, and therefore unnecessary suffering and mourning can delay the transition. The more joyful the farewell, the easier it is to part with the world of the living.
It is not the mythical Saint Peter with the keys who meets us there - our closest relatives and friends from all past lives, even pets. They all learn about the imminent arrival of “their own” by the blinking of the fire that each living person emits and is clearly visible there. And for the newcomer – personally – a Spiritual Mentor awaits him, called upon to accompany a person in all his incarnations on Earth (usually invisibly) and to be his friend in the Other World. It is he, the Mentor, who leads the newcomer to the majestic domed building with columns - the Hall of Wisdom. Huge marble steps, sparkling sculptural groups, gushing jets of fountains, fragrant flowers,
white marble benches... And what they usually say begins: “My whole life flashed before me.” This process does not take much time at all, especially since the concept of time at home simply does not exist, everything there is eternal and infinite. But it is extremely useful to calmly, objectively and kindly evaluate and comprehend what you have experienced - good and bad. The Spiritual Mentor and specially trained organizing spirits help you to calm down after such an exciting “film”, think about the past in order to make a better future during your stay in the Other World and, most importantly, in your next lives. Their role is especially important for facilitating the transition of those who died a violent death, who arrived in a state of confusion, psychological imbalance or illness, for those who could not immediately realize where they had ended up.

Does the soul continue to live?

...To believe or not to believe the strange stories (tales?) of an overseas lady and, especially, a certain Fastina, an unlikely real-life (in the usual sense) spirit from nowhere? But then we must not believe the countless stories about encounters with the dead and ghosts, and not believe everything collected by enthusiastic researchers...
Having become interested in the topic of the eternity of human life, I read, among others, the book “After Death” published in Moscow in 1999. The author's name seemed familiar: Camille Flammarion. Is it really he, the famous astronomer who founded the French Astronomical Society, who studied Mars, the Moon, and double stars? Yes he.
This authority (1842 - 1925) can be trusted completely. With a scrupulously scientific approach, for more than six decades he collected and analyzed evidence of encounters with the world of the dead and came to the conclusion: “The soul is independent of the material body and continues to live after death.” For the inhabitants of the recent Land of the Soviets, accustomed to a straightforward materialistic perception of everything that exists, it sounds revolutionary, almost seditious. And...completely confirms the ideas of Sylvia Brown and her like-minded people. But even in those days, “students” of the unknown were faced with misunderstanding and mistrust. “I have no doubt,” the scientist wrote, “that official science, as well as public opinion, opposes such research: I was convinced of this every time I drew attention to the problems of the afterlife on the pages of many magazines both in France and abroad. The fruit is not yet ripe. People are afraid. They do not understand that the study of the existence of the soul and other life after ours, so fleeting, fragile, fleeting, is the most important of all studies, that it must be strictly scientific and represent the primary task of scientists. One day they will understand this... perhaps in a hundred years."

The best of all worlds

Well, a hundred years have passed. Therefore, following Flammarion and Sylvia Brown, we emphasize: death in no way means that a person has ceased to exist, and regardless of whether he is in the earthly or another dimension, he remains himself - with his habits, interests, knowledge, even appearance . There we still have a body, eyes, heart and other organs.
Why, if, for example, the functions of digestion and excretion no longer exist? The explanation is simple: this is how we were created.
At will, with one thought, we can change our height, weight, appearance, even nationality and race, becoming what we dreamed of, but could not become in earthly life. Most often, by the way, people on Earth are dissatisfied with their appearance or profession not because they are bad - because of nostalgia for what they had on one of their long-ago visits...
Is it ever boring in the Other World? Never. Although spirits have no need for night sleep, food and other household necessities. There is also no material and physiological need to work - but everyone works. For yourself, for interest. Spirits return to their favorite professions, hobbies and entertainments. But first of all, they study - and this is perhaps the most exciting activity, for which there is everything - libraries, classrooms, lectures (free, like everything here) by the best professors. And what was not possible before will be studied with interest - from astronomy to dance or foreign languages. Theatres, concert halls, stadiums are always at your service. Since there is no concept of space here, at any moment, by the power of thought, the spirit can find itself in any place, meet in any fellow interesting to it, create any thing, build any dwelling for itself (although there is no need for it - without precipitation, wind, heat and cold) , furnish it with any furniture. And communicate with any of the spirits, regardless of his nationality and language. Because everyone here knows perfectly well
The language spoken from the first birth is Aramaic. It was mastered on the planet much later, in the 11th-14th centuries. BC. inhabitants of Arabia and Western Asia. At the same time, the knowledge of all languages and dialects in which the person communicated in past lives returns. Although you can do without words at all - with telepathy...
Everyone treats all spirit people with respect and love, although, naturally, they are more drawn to others.
The usual sex on Earth in the Other World does not exist as unnecessary (there is no problem of procreation there), but there is an amazing act of unity when two souls literally penetrate each other spiritually and emotionally to a state of complete bliss. Traditional marriage and family are not needed there: the spirit spends eternity (with short breaks for the next incarnation) surrounded by loved ones under the protection of the Spiritual Mentor who still protects him.
Is it possible to call the Other World described by the author of the book the more familiar word “paradise”? Yes, probably. But...there’s no need to rush “there”. Suicides are not respected anywhere - under any, even the most unbearable circumstances, one cannot voluntarily break contact with the destiny determined for us, stop one’s unique path. Anyone who does do this - due to mental illness, incurable illness or despair, does not end up in the tunnel leading to beauty - in the so-called Waiting Place, something like a “waiting room” or “purgatory”. Here dwells a sea of lost spirits, plunged into the dreary chaos of deep depression. Some of them, gradually finding themselves, will then safely come to a happy stay among others. Those who leave out of cowardice, thirst for attention or an evil desire for revenge doom themselves to eternal... no, not that hell with devils and frying pans that religions talk about. They enter the Left Door of the Other World, behind which there is only darkness without joy and love, nothingness, where creatures in hooded capes sluggishly move their feet. However, most of the “population of the Evil Sky” are people from the Dark Side, ruthless and immoral, valuing themselves and only themselves, bringing grief, misfortune and death to others...
These are the testimonies of Sylvia Brown, based primarily on the stories of people during sessions of regressive hypnosis.
Interesting. But it’s not enough - I want to listen to someone else, preferably an eyewitness - for comparison, analysis, and greater persuasiveness. Do you think it's impossible?

A different look

New Yorker Robert Monroe, a broadcasting specialist, has studied the effects
sound signals on human consciousness. At the age of 42, frightening phenomena began to occur to him - severe convulsions, pain, incomprehensible vibrations in the body. And then...his soul (or what have we got there?) left his body and rose up. She flew more and more often and farther - around the apartment... along the city streets... around the planet... Until, during the next exits from the body, Monroe learned to penetrate into the “second zone” - the world where our souls go after the death of the physical body. Such observations would simply surprise another person, but Monroe, like a true scientist, began to study them. First from my own experience, then by involving staff and volunteers. In 1971, through his efforts, the Institute for the Study of the Mind, or, more simply, the Monroe Institute, appeared.
Having finally become convinced of the main thing - that the spiritual essence of a person can temporarily leave the physical body and continue active conscious actions, that is, the Soul really exists, Monroe established that
- the soul has weight (as it later turned out, from 2.5 to 7 grams);
- has “rubber” flexibility and can take any shape (isn’t this where numerous stories about werewolves come from?);
- the “second body” permeates the physical and is, as it were, “embedded” in it, and “having flown out”, reflects light and, therefore, is visible in favorable lighting;
- independent of the physical body and can perceive sensory sensations.
Like Flammarion before, Monroe is stunned: at the moment of death, the human personality does not die, but continues to exist in a “second body.”
You can read more about the Monroe phenomenon in the book “The Great Transition” published in 2003 in St. Petersburg from the series “On the Threshold of the Subtle World” (authors V. and T. Tikhoplavy).
We are especially interested in how Robert Monroe saw the Other World during his astral flights.
In the initial part of the “second zone,” where a person ends up immediately after dying, Monroe believes, some half-crazed creatures live. These are the souls of living people, sleeping or drugged, as well as those who have recently passed away, not yet realizing where they are and how they got here. What is not Sylvia Brown's Waiting Place?
Monroe also visited a huge park, carefully maintained, where hundreds of men and women walked along countless paths or rested on benches. Some were calm or slightly excited, others - clearly new arrivals - were amazed, amazed, confused.
Monroe curiously describes “paradise”: “It seemed as if you were floating in warm soft clouds... The clouds were penetrated by rays of light of constantly changing shapes and colors. When such a ray touches you, when you bathe in it, it causes indescribable pleasure. Slowly, effortlessly you move among the clouds, and music sounds around you. Music comes out of nowhere, it’s everywhere here - around, inside you.”
Even more curious is the feeling that gripped the narrator: “You are in your homeland, you are at home. You are where you have always wanted to go.”
Monroe walked with pleasure in the Other World barefoot on the grass among tall poplars, plane trees, cypresses, spruce trees, enjoying the smell of flowers and the singing of birds fluttering from branch to branch.
Regardless of Sylvia Brown, but in almost the same words, Robert Monroe describes the relationship between a man and a woman - as an emotional shock in which both merge inseparably, and inexpressible bliss ensues...
There really is no need for food there. Where does the necessary energy come from? From thought! In the language of modern science - from the torsion fields that thought emits, or the energy of the physical vacuum.
Monroe's main conclusion: there is a world of thought there. It is she who is the source of existence of souls and various objects created from nothing (the same vacuum?) at their request.
By the way, Russian scientists experimentally proved the materiality of thought and thought forms and even recorded phantoms (images) created by the effort of human thought with instruments.
Once I found my recently deceased father, and both were extremely excited by that meeting.
Robert Monroe found his wife Nancy in the kingdom of shadows, who suddenly left him and their four children. The meeting was a success - it was “a real explosion of feelings, containing all the imaginary shades of the relationship between two people who deeply love each other.” After each date, leaving became more and more unbearable. And finally, one day he did not return to the earthly world, remaining “there”. Forever. Unfortunately, there were no more stories from him...
Apart from the details, the data obtained as a result of regressive hypnosis by Sylvia Brown and the astral travel of Robert Monroe are consistent. Means?..
So to believe or not to believe in everything described? Don't know. But this is interesting and important, it needs to be checked and studied. I’ll visit it myself, and when I return, I’ll definitely tell you.
And I would like to end the journey (for now in absentia) through a country so distant and close at the same time, as inevitable, with the lines of the great Victor Hugo (1802 - 1885): “I look without fear at the grave with eternal shadows. And I think that the body will find its prison in it, but the soul will find wings in it. ...And what we take here as the end,
there is only the beginning."

One of the main questions for everyone remains the question of what awaits us after death. For thousands of years, unsuccessful attempts have been made to unravel this mystery. Apart from guesswork, there are real facts confirming that death is not the end of the human journey.

There are a large number of paranormal videos that have taken the internet by storm. But even in this case, there are a lot of skeptics who say that the videos can be faked. It is difficult to disagree with them, because a person is not inclined to believe in what he cannot see with his own eyes.

There are many stories about how people returned from the other world when they were near death. How to perceive such cases is a matter of faith. However, often even the most inveterate skeptics changed themselves and their lives when faced with situations that cannot be explained using logic.

Religion about death

The vast majority of the world's religions have teachings about what awaits us after death. The most common is the doctrine of Heaven and Hell. Sometimes it is supplemented by an intermediate link: “walking” through the world of the living after death. Some peoples believe that such a fate awaits suicides and those who have not completed something important on this Earth.

A similar concept is seen in many religions. Despite all the differences, they have one thing in common: everything is tied to good and bad, and a person’s posthumous state depends on how he behaved during life. The religious description of the afterlife cannot be written off. Life after death exists - inexplicable facts confirm this.

One day something amazing happened to a priest who was the rector of the Baptist Church in the United States of America. A man was driving his car home from a meeting about building a new church when a truck came towards him. The accident could not be avoided. The collision was so strong that the man fell into a coma for some time.

An ambulance arrived soon, but it was too late. The man's heart didn't beat. Doctors confirmed the cardiac arrest with a second test. They had no doubt that the man was dead. Around the same time, the police arrived at the scene of the accident. Among the officers there was a Christian who saw a cross in the priest’s pocket. He immediately noticed his clothes and realized who was in front of him. He could not send God's servant on his final journey without prayer. He said words of prayer as he climbed into the dilapidated car and took the hand of the man whose heart was not beating. While reading the lines, he heard a subtle groan, which shocked him. He checked his pulse again and realized that he could clearly feel the blood pulsing. Later, when the man miraculously recovered and began to live his old life, this story became popular. Perhaps the man really returned from the other world to complete important matters at the behest of God. One way or another, they could not give a scientific explanation for this, because the heart cannot start on its own.

The priest himself said more than once in his interviews that he saw only the white light and nothing else. He could have taken advantage of the situation and said that the Lord himself spoke to him or that he saw angels, but he did not do this. A couple of reporters claimed that when asked what the man saw in this afterlife dream, he smiled discreetly and his eyes filled with tears. Perhaps he really saw something hidden, but did not want to make it public.

When people are in a short coma, their brain does not have time to die during this time. That is why it is worth paying attention to the numerous stories that people, being between life and death, saw a light so bright that even through closed eyes it seeps through as if the eyelids were transparent. One hundred percent of people came back to life and reported that the light began to move away from them. Religion interprets this very simply - their time has not yet come. A similar light was seen by the wise men approaching the cave where Jesus Christ was born. This is the glow of heaven, the afterlife. No one saw angels or God, but felt the touch of higher powers.

Another thing is dreams. Scientists have proven that we can dream anything that our brain can imagine. In a word, dreams are not limited by anything. It happens that people see their dead relatives in their dreams. If 40 days have not passed since death, this means that the person actually spoke to you from the afterlife. Unfortunately, dreams cannot be analyzed objectively from two points of view - scientific and religious-esoteric, because it’s all about sensations. You may dream about God, angels, heaven, hell, ghosts and whatever you want, but you don’t always feel that the meeting was real. It happens that in dreams we remember deceased grandparents or parents, but only occasionally does a real spirit come to someone in a dream. We all understand that it will be impossible to prove our feelings, so no one spreads their impressions further than outside the family circle. Those who believe in the afterlife, and even those who doubt it, wake up after such dreams with a completely different view of the world. Spirits can predict the future, which has happened more than once in history. They can show dissatisfaction, joy, sympathy.

There are quite a famous story that happened in Scotland in the early 70s of the 20th century with an ordinary builder. A residential building was being built in Edinburgh. Norman McTagert, who was 32 years old, worked at the construction site. He fell from quite a height, lost consciousness and fell into a coma for a day. Shortly before this, he dreamed of falling. After he woke up, he told what he saw in the coma. According to the man, it was a long journey because he wanted to wake up, but he couldn’t. First he saw that same blinding bright light, and then he met his mother, who said that she had always wanted to become a grandmother. The most interesting thing is that as soon as he regained consciousness, his wife told him about the most pleasant news that was possible - Norman was going to become a dad. The woman found out about her pregnancy on the day of the tragedy. The man had serious health problems, but he not only survived, but also continued to work and feed his family.

At the end of the 90s, something very unusual happened in Canada.. The doctor on duty at one of the Vancouver hospitals was taking calls and filling out paperwork, but then she saw a little boy in white night pajamas. He shouted from the other end of the emergency room: “Tell my mom not to worry about me.” The girl was afraid that one of the patients had left the room, but then she saw the boy walk through the closed doors of the hospital. His house was a couple of minutes from the hospital. That's where he ran. The doctor was alarmed by the fact that it was three o'clock in the morning. She decided that she had to catch up with the boy at all costs, because even if he was not a patient, she needed to report him to the police. She ran after him for just a couple of minutes until the child ran into the house. The girl began to ring the doorbell, after which the mother of that same boy opened the door for her. She said that it was impossible for her son to leave the house, because he was very ill. She burst into tears and went into the room where the child lay in his crib. It turned out that the boy had died. The story received great resonance in society.

In the brutal Second World War one private Frenchman spent almost two hours firing back at the enemy during a battle in the city . Next to him was a man of about 40 years old, who covered him on the other side. It is impossible to imagine how great the surprise of an ordinary soldier in the French army was, who turned in that direction to say something to his partner, but realized that he had disappeared. A few minutes later, screams of approaching allies were heard, rushing to help. He and several other soldiers ran out to meet help, but the mysterious partner was not among them. He searched for him by name and rank, but never found the same fighter. Perhaps it was his guardian angel. Doctors say that in such stressful situations, mild hallucinations are possible, but talking with a man for an hour and a half cannot be called an ordinary mirage.

There are quite a lot of similar stories about life after death. Some of them are confirmed by eyewitnesses, but doubters still call it a fake and try to find scientific justification for people’s actions and their visions.

Real facts about the afterlife

Since ancient times, there have been cases where people saw ghosts. First they were photographed and then filmed. Some people think that this is an edit, but later they are personally convinced of the veracity of the pictures. Numerous stories cannot be considered proof of the existence of life after death, so people need evidence and scientific facts.

Fact one: Many have heard that after death a person becomes exactly 22 grams lighter. Scientists cannot explain this phenomenon in any way. Many believers tend to believe that 22 grams is the weight of the human soul. Many experiments were carried out that ended with the same result - the body became lighter by a certain amount. Why is the main question. People's skepticism cannot be eradicated, so many hope that an explanation will be found, but this is unlikely to happen. Ghosts can be seen by the human eye, hence their "body" has mass. Obviously, everything that has some kind of outline must be at least partly physical. Ghosts exist in greater dimensions than us. There are 4 of them: height, width, length and time. Ghosts have no control over time from the point of view from which we see it.

Fact two: The air temperature near ghosts decreases. This is typical, by the way, not only for the souls of dead people, but also for the so-called brownies. All this is the result of the action of the afterlife in reality. When a person dies, the temperature around him immediately drops sharply, literally for an instant. This indicates that the soul leaves the body. The temperature of the soul is approximately 5-7 degrees Celsius, as measurements show. During paranormal phenomena, the temperature also changes, so scientists have proven that this happens not only during immediate death, but also afterwards. The soul has a certain radius of influence around itself. Many horror films use this fact to bring the filming closer to reality. Many people confirm that when they felt the movement of a ghost or some entity near them, they felt very cold.

Here is an example of a paranormal video that features real ghosts.

The authors claim that this is not a joke, and experts who watched this collection say that approximately half of all such videos are the real truth. Particularly noteworthy is the part of this video where the girl is pushed by a ghost in the bathroom. Experts report that physical contact is possible and absolutely real, and the video is not fake. Almost all pictures of furniture moving may be true. The problem is that it is very easy to fake such a video, but in the moment where the chair next to the sitting girl began to move by itself, there was no acting. There are very, very many such cases around the world, but there are no fewer of those who just want to promote their video and become famous. Distinguishing fake from truth is difficult, but possible.

And again about the afterlife.

So does the afterlife exist or not? But humanity has long answered this question - Yes, the afterlife exists! Most philosophies and all religions speak about this. With the development of scientific and technological progress, an atheistic movement arose, and the question of existence was again put on the agenda, as a result of which the scientific world was divided into two camps with opposing opinions.

At the same time, when the scientific world, with the help of formulas, evidence, theories and hypotheses, conducts its endless debate, news from the afterlife continues to arrive. They come to those who believe in him and to non-believers, and there is no reason to simply dismiss such news, citing incompetence, abnormality, or dishonesty of those contacting the other world.

A ghost who knows everything.

Even the great Vanga argued that life continues after death and the dead live a new life in another world - the afterlife, and their souls are among the living. And these are not many words, but many confirmations. One small example:
World-famous neurophysiologist, academician N.P. Bekhtereva wrote autobiographical book. In this book she writes that she was visited quite often by the ghost of her husband. This happened both during the day and at night. Moreover, he even managed to express his thoughts that did not see the light of day during his lifetime.
Since Natalya Petrovna was sure of the reality of what was happening, she was not at all afraid of the appearance of the ghost. I was amazed by the ghost’s excellent knowledge of Bekhtereva’s life and his predictions, which always came true. For example, he accurately indicated the place where Natalya Petrovna put documents that she had forgotten about and then searched for for a long time.

American physicist David Suchette expressed the idea that “guests” from the other world are not at all a play of the imagination, but actual reality, if the soul is material. Both Bekhtereva and Suchette are unanimous in the same opinion that communication with the dead is possible, but not for everyone. It is accessible only to people in a special state. This condition can occur during an extreme or stressful situation.
Contact with an inhabitant of the afterlife is possible on the latter’s initiative if this contact is obligatory for him.

It’s a shame they don’t come.

There is probably no person who has not heard the name Edgar Cayce. Yes, this is exactly the person who made about 25 thousand predictions and earned worldwide fame thanks to his ability to make an almost error-free diagnosis of any person. In addition, he indicated methods of treating the discovered disease. The accuracy of this method reached 80-100%.

To make a diagnosis, no equipment or tests were required; Edgar Cayce could simply change his consciousness and thus make a diagnosis. He died on the day and hour he himself predicted, but... in 2100 he promised to return and find out whether his predictions had come true. It’s just in what form he will be reborn and how the rebirth will take place, the prophet did not say, but ghosts and spirits from the afterlife do indeed return.
Let's return to Russia. In 2005, television showed a story about M.L. Babushkina, a resident of the city of Novosibirsk, who, together with search engines, found the burial place of her father, who died during the war. She managed to find this place only thanks to the voice of her father, who led Maria Lazarevna to the burial place.

Novgorod region. Myasnoy Bor - information about this place has often appeared in the press and on television in recent years; anomalous phenomena have been observed here. During the war, many soldiers died in this place and the souls of unburied soldiers quite often tell search engines where to look and, as a rule, such information is always reliable.

Quite frequent guests from the other world and pets, which often save the lives of their former owners, but this is a rather broad topic and we will not touch on it in this article.

Our brain is only a tool.

The English popular magazine The Lancet published an article about the memories of miraculously surviving people after cardiac arrest. And do you know what conclusion the authors of the article made? But they came to the conclusion that consciousness is not an integral feature of the brain and exists even after a person has died, and therefore the brain has ceased to carry out its functions. In other words, the brain is not a thinking matter, it is just a communicator. And the authors of the article are not alone in their conclusions; specialists from the clinic, which is located in Southampton, also argue.

Let us give just one of many examples confirming this conclusion.
Kaliningrad resident Galina Ladoga was in a car accident and was taken to the hospital with severe brain damage. The kidneys, liver, spleen, lungs were also damaged and there were many fractures. After some time, the heart stopped.
But a miracle happened (there is no other way to call this resurrection) - she came back to life again and this is what she said: Having flown through complete blackness, she found herself in a brightly lit space. In front of her in snow-white clothes stood a large man, not even big, but huge. It was not possible to see his face, since the stream of light was directed at Galina. The man sternly asked her for what purpose she came to this place. To which the victim replied that she was very tired and asked to rest for a little while. In response, she heard: “You still have a lot of unfinished business - Rest and come back.”

An agonizing two weeks passed, during which Galina’s life hung by a thin, thin thread. Having regained consciousness, she immediately told the attending physician Evgeniy Zatovka about the entire course of the operation: what equipment was used, who said what, who stood where, what instruments were used and from which cabinets they were taken.
The time had come for another operation, after which Galina woke up and asked the doctor a question - was his stomach bothering him again? The doctor was amazed, because just recently he had suffered from stomach pain.

Soon the woman had the gift of healing. She was especially successful in curing ulcers and fractures. Galina’s further life turned out quite well, she believes in God, goes to church and is not at all afraid of transitioning to another world. The same can be said about the vast majority of other people who have been in the same state as her.

People may have questions after learning about the out-of-body experiences of temporary death survivors. First of all, did everyone who went through clinical death have the described perceptions or only some of them? Did everyone testify to the continuation of life after the death of the body? These issues concern us all closely. Will I continue to exist after the death of my body, or will my existence end here? We know that such a phenomenon as the continuation of life after the death of the body exists, but does it happen to everyone?

By the 1980s, more than 25,000 cases of returning to life after temporary death had been collected. Kübler-Ross reports that according to her data, only 10 percent of respondents had clear memories of their experiences. Other authors talk about 25, 40 or more percent. Osis and Haraldson sent out a questionnaire to doctors and received many responses. Of the 3,800 patients who died in full consciousness, more than one third, being on the verge of death, saw various incorporeal figures or, having left the body, had certain perceptions. Osis and Haraldson noted that believers had visions more often than nonbelievers. 5-year-old children and 75-year-old old people saw and felt the same thing. The longer they remained outside the body, the brighter and stronger their experiences were.

It turned out that less than half of the people who were on the verge of life and death testified to life after death, while the majority spoke of emptiness, of loss of consciousness.

Does this mean that only some of us, and not all, will find life after death? Objective science cannot yet answer this question. Not everyone talks about being in the afterlife. Many of the respondents did not want to answer, probably fearing mistrust and ridicule. And when we wake up in the morning, can we always remember our dreams? Many perceptions, especially disturbing ones, are not stored in memory.

Christianity answers this question absolutely definitely: the human soul is immortal and will live forever. BUT the quality of this disembodied life will be very different for different people.

Surely each of us, to one degree or another, is afraid of death. How will we die? Will we suffer? Will we feel pain? Is it very strong?

It is probably possible to give a very definite answer to this question. None of those who were “beyond the threshold of death” and, therefore, stepped over the “moment” of dying spoke about pain. There was no pain. There was no physical suffering either. Pain and suffering may have been caused by life, but they only lasted until the critical “moment”; neither during it nor after it there were none. On the contrary, a feeling of calm, peace and even happiness came.

The “moment” of transition itself is imperceptible. Very few people talked about momentary loss of consciousness.

One more thing is curious. Most of those who died did not know for some time that they had died. They continued to live, hear and think as before, but they found themselves in an unusual environment - they hovered under the ceiling, watched their body from the side, and so on. And only gradually did they begin to suspect: “Am I dead?” Before this, they did not perceive the moment of death at all. But this is understandable and absolutely natural. The personality does not stop living; there was no death of the personality. This means that there were no sensations of what did not exist and could not exist.

Here is a short excerpt from one interview. A doctor asks a patient who has returned to life about how he died: “At what point did you lose consciousness?” The patient says with irritation: “I didn’t lose consciousness at all. I saw everything and remember everything.” Continuing, he says: “At first I didn’t understand why they were crowding over my body, it never occurred to me that I was dead... No pain... there’s nothing to be afraid of death.”

There is no disappearance or non-existence, but there is a transition from one state to another, and this transition is painless and in itself imperceptible. The situation changes, the nature of perception changes, and only then does the understanding come: “I am dead.”

It’s nice to know that at a critical moment there will be no pain or any unpleasant sensations, but another question immediately arises: What then? What will happen to me after?

Almost everyone who had the experience of dying talked about peace and quiet. They were surrounded by love and felt safe. Is it possible to hope that this applies to everyone and that nothing bad threatens any of us after the death of the body? Science cannot answer this question; The information she obtained does not speak about the afterlife, but only about its beginning, about the first minutes, and in rare cases, about hours after the transition.

Most descriptions of these first minutes are actually light in nature, but not all. The stories of suicides brought back to life are bleak. In addition, it is a known fact that unpleasant things are often forgotten, and difficult and unwanted experiences are repressed from memory into the subconscious.

Dr. Maurice Rawlings writes about this in his book “Beyond the Threshold of Death” (a description of this case is given in Tim Lagay’s book “Life Beyond the Coffin”). He was concerned that reports by Raymond Moody, Kübler-Ross and others were creating a false impression. Not all perceptions of transition are pleasant. He talked about his patient who, after cardiac arrest, ended up in hell. During resuscitation, he regained consciousness several times, but his heart stopped again. When he found himself in our world and gained the gift of speech, he did not stop seeing hell and, in horror, begged the doctors to speed up his revival. Two days later, the patient had no memories of what happened. He forgot everything, as if he had never been to hell and had never seen any hell.

After the transition, the individual finds himself in new conditions of existence. “In the afterlife,” writes Ritchie, “all the laws of matter are violated. There it is possible to walk through walls, not feel touch, and “instantly” fly. Probably, having crossed the threshold of death, a person enters into some other relationship with time and space. “I could instantly transport myself to any place I wanted.”

No one mentioned the time when the dying were outside the threshold and, probably, did not think that it did not exist at all. Afterwards it turned out that the review of the whole life, long visions, meetings and conversations lasted one or two minutes of earthly time, maybe even less. Freud writes about “time compression” in dreams and gives examples of long and complex dreams that took up less than one minute of earthly time.

The father of the family saw six dead children in the other world, all at the age when they were closest to him. “They don’t have an age there.”

Time and space there are different than on earth. We do not know what they are or whether they exist at all, but, apparently, they are less absolute for an incorporeal being than for us.

The third chapter describes meetings with deceased relatives and acquaintances. The soul that has passed into the afterlife meets and somehow unmistakably recognizes those whom it knew on earth. She meets only those who were close to her, and at that age when the love that bound them was especially strong, as if related things were attracted to each other.

The dying perceived everything that happened in the afterlife as completely real. Everyone was sure that what they experienced and described actually happened. For them it was undeniable, even when their mind refused to admit it: “I don’t understand... Yes, it happened, although it shouldn’t have happened. There’s no way it could exist, but it exists.”

“Yes, I know, many will not believe me, they will say that this could not have happened. But this won’t change anything at all, and let them tell me: “It can’t be, science will prove that it doesn’t exist,” - I know, I’ve been there.”

He left the body and watched the operation on himself. He is fine, he does not need any surgery. He tries to stop the doctor, but nothing worked. “I grabbed his hand and it was gone. I was real, it was he who was unreal... like in a mirror.” He, in his world, feels and understands that he is real, but in reality there is no doctor there.

A female psychiatrist who experienced temporary death said: “People who have had these experiences know that those who have not had them must wait.” While the body and the part of the person that left it existed separately, all external stimuli were perceived by the latter. The body felt nothing, and everything that happened to it was observed and described from the outside. She hovered under the ceiling and observed: “When the current was turned on, I saw my body jump up... I didn’t feel anything, no pain...”

Everything that was stored in memory related to the perceptions and experiences of the exited part, and not the body. The body was motionless and absolutely indifferent, it did not see, did not hear, did not feel until the time when the released part returned to it; after this, the physical eyes began to see again, the ears to hear, and the brain to function. The person became the same as he was before cardiac arrest or the accident.

Exactly the same sequence of events occurs when the “astral body” travels.

The existence of those who passed into another world was a reality, but the situation in which they found themselves, especially during transcendental perceptions, was so unusual that it was almost impossible to describe it. “There is no such thing in life (on earth). There is no such word in our language to describe... This is different... This is not our world...”

There are many stories about how the part of a person who left the body saw itself. They are fragmentary and not very clear. Perhaps someone else's attention was attracted. When we find ourselves in an exotic country for the first time, we look not at ourselves, but at our surroundings.

There is one very curious side to all stories about otherworldly perceptions. Absolutely speaking about the preservation and even exacerbation of physiological functions. Vision and hearing are clearer than before, understanding is so complete that it is impossible to deceive or hide anything. At the same time, there are almost no descriptions of the anatomical substance and form.

One woman, once “over the threshold,” tried to push away the nurse’s hand, which was rubbing her lifeless body. When asked if she saw her own hand, she replied: “Yes, I had something like a hand, but when it became unnecessary, it disappeared.”

But even such a vague message is quite unusual. As a rule, in the reports of people who have had otherworldly experiences, there is no mention of their own appearance and the shape of their organs, as if the latter did not exist at all.

Consequently, the physiological functions known to us are preserved, but exist without a corresponding anatomical substrate.

It is possible to see without physical eyes. A man blind from birth, leaving his body, saw everything that doctors did to his body and subsequently spoke about what was happening in every detail. Dr. Kübler-Ross tells of a blind woman who saw clearly and then described the room in which she “died.” Returning to her body, she became blind again. As you can see, it is possible to perceive both worlds with spiritual vision, but only the material world with bodily vision.

The legless soldier could walk and felt that both his legs were intact.

Contacts with other incorporeal beings occur without the participation of speech organs and physical brain cells that perceive words or thoughts.

Function exists without matter, or, in any case, without the form of matter known to us.

Saint Gregory Palamas wrote: “In mystical contemplation, a person sees not with the intellect or body, but with the spirit; he knows with complete certainty that he supernaturally perceives light that surpasses all other light, but he does not know by what organ he perceives this light.”

In the afterlife, vision and hearing are preserved. But the sense of touch seems to disappear or weaken. Ikskul said: “My body is really a body... I saw clearly... but it became inaccessible to touch.”

“Pushing their hands away, I didn’t feel anything.”

“He simply passed through me...”

“I stood and couldn’t reach the floor: the air was probably too dense there.”

There was no pain in the afterlife. There are almost no references to any bodily sensations, but many felt warmth in the presence of the Light.

After the transition, a change occurs in the emotional sphere of the personality. She loses interest in her body and what happens to it. “I come out, and the body is an empty shell.”

A dying man watches his heart surgery as a “disinterested observer.”

Attempts to revive a dead body “were not interesting to me.” Probably, the past, earthly life is over.

No one regretted the material losses, but love for relatives remained, concern for the children left behind, and sometimes there was a desire to return back, despite the fact that “there” was better than in earthly life.

But no fundamental changes have occurred in the character of the individual; she remains the same as she was. She is in the afterlife and here she sees and realizes a lot of new things for herself, but she will not have any higher knowledge or understanding.

There is some evidence that speaks of such higher knowledge. All of them relate to those cases where resuscitation required a lot of time and the stay “outside the body” was long. Those who returned spoke of an unexpected "enlightenment" when any knowledge and any information was achievable, all knowledge - past, present and future - was timeless and easily accessible. “Knowledge is here, around you, and you can take it.”

This state turned out to be fleeting. Upon returning to the body, the feeling of comprehensive knowledge remained, but its content disappeared without a trace. There was nothing left in my memory.

Of course, in the afterlife, a person has to learn a lot of new things, but at the moment of transition and immediately after it, he remains the same as he was during life on Earth. She sees and understands what is happening the same way as before, sometimes very primitively and naively. She may try to help the orderlies carry the stretcher with her dead body. In her opinion, wearing boots in the operating room is unsterile.

“The assumption that upon leaving the body the soul immediately knows and understands everything is incorrect. I came to this new world the same way I left the old one” (Ikskul).

New knowledge and understanding do not come immediately. During the transition, the personality does not change. Individuality is preserved. We do not have two lives, but one: the afterlife is a natural continuation of our earthly life.

Pantes Kiroson

The belief that with the onset of death a person’s life continues in another world is inherent in many people. The concept of the other world, in which the immortal soul continues to exist after the death of the physical body, is inherent to varying degrees in all religions of the world.

Are they actually dead or is it just an influence mechanism developed by the clergy and those in power to gain control over society.

From time immemorial

The knowledge of the existence of the other world is not new. Mention of this mysterious place can be found in all cultures of the world. Ancient people believed that in the afterlife they would also have a physical body and the needs associated with it.

They believed that just like during earthly existence, they would hunt, eat, fight and rest. Objects that might be needed in the “next” world were placed in the graves of the deceased. These could be clothes, weapons, food, horses and jewelry. Human sacrifices were widely practiced. It was believed that servants and wives buried with their master would serve him in the other world.

The Other World in Ancient Times

Depending on the challenges of the era, under the influence of various factors, people's idea of the afterlife changed. So, in ancient times, in freedom-loving and intellectually developed Greece, people saw the afterlife as a nondescript place, a haven of dark shadows. During life, all residents of the country were equal, and in the afterlife, the same existence awaited everyone.

In ancient Egypt, unlike Hellas, the cult of submission to the pharaoh as an earthly deity was cultivated. Society was divided into classes. The poor segments of the population and representatives of the nobility stood out clearly. The priests acted as guardians of knowledge about nature, and ordinary Egyptians were ordered to serve as their weak-willed instruments.

Therefore, in the afterlife of the Egyptians, a terrible judgment awaited, at which the supreme deity Osiris, surrounded by monsters, judged the sins of the deceased. The soul of the deceased reported that during his life he was faithful to the pharaoh, made the required amount of sacrifices to the gods and fulfilled all the instructions of the clergy, and therefore deserved a posthumous existence.

If a person did not violate the commandments of the pharaoh and the priests, he was allowed to live in the kingdom of Osiris, and he received all the benefits that were not available to him during his life. Otherwise, the soul of the unfortunate man was devoured by the crocodile-headed monster Amamat, and it ceased to exist forever.

Later beliefs

In Christian religions, clergy refined the concept of the other world and began to actively use it for their own purposes.

Thus, early Christians cultivated belief in the existence of heaven and hell. Moreover, if a person was poor during his life, led a righteous lifestyle and obeyed his master and the church, then in the afterlife he went to heaven. On the contrary, the rich, who during their lifetime indulged in carnal pleasures, abuse of food and alcohol, and who were aggressive towards their subordinates, went to hell.

This state of affairs corresponded to the interests of the Roman aristocrats, who were followers of Epicurus and carnal pleasures. For the most part, they had little interest in the afterlife and posthumous existence. At the same time, the ideas of Christianity were widely propagated among slaves, making them submissive.

Later, Catholic priests took the idea of the Last Judgment to its highest point of culmination. For a small monetary payment, any sinner could buy an indulgence that would free him from all past and future sins. The presence of this paper guaranteed a person to go to heaven after death. This practice significantly enriched the charitable institution - the church.

Why do people believe in the afterlife?

Naturally, the desire for justice at the Last Judgment, an innate human quality - fear of change and suffering associated with the loss of a loved one, contributed to the spread of faith in the other world. But if the other world did not really exist, then this idea would not survive millennia and would not occupy the minds of modern people.

People not only believe in the other world, but reliably know about its existence. Everyone is able to look into the abode of spirits and the dead. Most often, this experience occurs in a dream. At the same time, almost every person living on earth can report their own contact with otherworldly inhabitants.

The whole difficulty lies in the fact that these inhabitants cannot be seen with your eyes or touched with your hands. The only way to communicate with them is through human consciousness. At this stage of the development of science, there is still no device capable of recording vibrations or radiation coming from the other world and generally determining whether that world is the habitat of the souls of the dead.

In matters of studying the “other” side, one has to rely on eyewitness accounts, which vary depending on the education and life experience of the contactee - the psychic. Since the other world is different from ours, due to different physical laws, it can be very difficult to understand and decipher the messages received.

However, the likelihood that the mystery of the afterlife will be finally solved is very high. Modern scientists have come close to unraveling the mystery of the human brain and consciousness. When a device is built capable of reproducing vibrations emitted and received by the brain, the gates to the other world will open for the living.
