People's partisan. Belarusian partisan

Yes - we can straighten it in different ways - either slowly and sadly, or quickly and with a roar, but still not as fun as with the paratroopers and motorized riflemen. There, tanks drive and soldiers run around - the commander's eye is pleasing.
Lepota.

We didn't really mind. As the saying goes: the soldier is sleeping - the service is on. And when he runs, the service just goes on early. So it's better to sleep more, and let the paratroopers run around - they work out the rank of elite troops.

***
But then someone from the authorities came across a cassette with the action movie "Running Man" and he decided that it was not a bad idea, in fact! The battalion commander was ordered to single out people who would portray saboteurs with a box of TNT rushing to our own fuel depot.
And the landing force and others will catch and neutralize them.

I volunteered, but by that time I was known too well. Therefore, junior sergeant Kolya Zaitsev (name and surname have been changed) was appointed to play the role of a game, who was not noticed in anything illegal, served flawlessly and therefore there was a glimmer of hope that everything would pass without surprises.

NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN THIS WRONG.

The fact is that they had to catch it in a small fishing line limited on all sides by collective farm fields and a highway. And Kolya was Belarusian.
Do you understand?
They released the Belarusian into the forest to partisan and hoped that everything would go smoothly.
Naive.

With them, Kolya was given a dry ration, a sealed box with a "bomb" and two porters from the "young". They took him out into the woods and to the question: "What should I do? What can I do? What can't I do?" patronizingly said:
"Don't worry - everything will be fast ...".

And they left.

***
And then the f**king started.

Initially, the whole event was planned for an hour - no more. Three people pi**ing with a heavy box can be seen from afar along the clearing. And those who make their way through the forest with him can be heard from afar.
Moreover, the truck driver was from the paratroopers and immediately leaked his own where he dropped them off.

Joyful beaters rushed there, hoping to quickly find the target and report back.
And they didn't find it.

After scratching their heads, they began to comb the forest around. And again, zero result.
Gritting their teeth, they asked for help: on the map, the forest did not make an impression, but on the ground it was a very rugged terrain, densely overgrown with pine forests, so that the hunters, who zigzagged around the ravines and hills, already had their tongues hanging on their shoulders.

***
By lunchtime, Kolya and his partisan detachment were already looking for the entire landing force, led by junior officers. The senior officers, huddled in a circle around the map, examined it with a magnifying glass, scratched their heads with pencils and looked unkindly at the battalion commander neighing in the corner.

After lunch, motorized riflemen joined the paratroopers.

By dinner time, bin Laden was not looked for as much as Kolya.

***
When it got dark, they spat, returned the fighters who were exhausted from running around in the heat to the location and began to decide how to drive up to the flyers so that tomorrow they would give a helicopter.

And then Kolya came to the headquarters and reported that they took the box where ordered and they can wash and eat, otherwise the dining room is already closed?

From immediate reprisals, the Battalion Commander literally shielded him with his chest. The partisans were fed, washed, checked for the presence of a "bomb" in the warehouse and began to ask how it happened.

Kolya reported to the intermediaries and foreign officers as it should be, and he told us as it is:

When they were thrown out of the truck in the middle of the forest and made it clear that they didn’t have much chance of success, Kolya decided that he would fucking tear his veins if he was caught anyway.
But he wasn't about to give up right away.
Therefore, having moved literally fifty meters away from the landing site along the road, he found a bush above the ditch, spread a raincoat under this bush, pulled another one on top and, having estimated the fallen leaves for disguise, ordered the "young" to turn on the silence mode, devoured and fell asleep.
The youth followed suit.

And in such a simple way, it all turned from a search for people wading through the forest with an uncomfortable box into an exciting game:
"Guess under what bush partisans", the chances of winning in which are even less than in the "lohoguess" game on the night channel.

Several times the search party passed literally centimeters from them, but since no one looked inside and did not shout "hands up", the "saboteurs" shrugged their shoulders and returned to their interrupted sleep.

When it got dark, Kolya, as a conscientious and disciplined soldier, decided to return to the location of the unit. Out on the road, admiring the stars, they stomped to the warehouse, knocked on the gate and said:
"Here. They told me to take it here."

The ensign on duty saw that everyone was running like crazy, but he was in finery, so all these moves were up to him.
So with a shrug:
"They bring it in - they don't take it out," he opened the gate, showed where to put the box, and after escorting Kolya and the fighters, he returned to sandwiches and a crossword puzzle.

And Kolya went to "surrender" to the headquarters, not even suspecting what a dead end he had put the whole color of the district military thought into.

As a result of this event, the landing force disliked us even more, the Battalion Commander tore his laughing muscle and then wandered around with a slight half-smile on his face for another month, the rest practiced plenty of witticisms on the topic: "Potatoes had to be lured", and Kolya received the nickname "partisan" and demobilization in the forefront.

A fighter from Belarus, who again got into the army at the age of 45, decided to record his every step, for the chronicle of partisan life and for the sake of future generations. We publish the diary with the consent of the author and without changes.

March 14, 16:45
Brothers in mind, I believe that in the next 25 days, at least until April 9, I will be unavailable for communication. They shave me into the partisans. My native military enlistment office attacked me at my place of work and handed me a summons to leave for training tomorrow, March 15, at dawn.
I strongly hope that such an urgent shave into the soldiers has nothing to do with the danger to the fatherland.

March 15, 9:43 am
At the recruiting station, the colonel to an indignant crowd of reserve officers:
- Well, what the fuck are you yelling here, "family, ** nya." They come to the draft board with their wives, the children yell. Like women! The motherland has chosen you, you should rejoice, it's an honor!
It seems that the quality of political officers has not improved much over the past 25 years...

March 15, 17:01
"Origin" - the army profile is interested.
Options: from workers, from peasants, intelligentsia, other (specify).
Memories came flooding back from these USSRs.
And if I am from intelligent peasants? And what options can be in the "other"? Nomenclature?
Declassed element? Deprived?
Soon they will probably ask about relatives abroad ...

March 15, 18:37
- Will they finally feed us? - says a man over 50. We are here all day basically waiting for something in these armies, we are bored and not fed.
- And when the summons was handed to you, they didn’t tell you to take food with you for today?
- They took me from work! Here, the bag is working! Right in the morning I came to work, and there they were already waiting, grabbed by the elbows and - to the collection point. I thought - f **** c, war! Where do I get my bottles from?
I was also lucky with my 15 hours of training camp...

March 15, 20:42
- Vlaskin, for clearance, - says the officer. Are you in public relations?
- Well, yes. Like. - Let's go.
We leave, we go.
- Did you give an interview to Tutbay today?
- Yes I.
- Your future colleagues have already shown.
- Cursed?
- No, why not. They are waiting for you.

March 16, 6:37 am
Well, how is it? Yesterday, four people were running around with my folder at the registration desk, asking me to wait there, wait here, they wanted to tell me something important. I felt special. Everyone was led in formation, me individually.
Then suddenly - "uniforms, run to the street, who are you, group number, as they did not report, it can not be, wait at the smoking room."
And then they forgot about me. And I stood at the smoking room, and the officers walked and said: "Who are you?" And then: "Well, let's go and find out"
They took me and two other losers somewhere and left me to sleep "where you can find it." Sleeping in the barracks is not for you "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William of ours.
And it's six in the morning. Alarm clock, drums, everyone is up, sergeants are yelling at everyone, and the three of us would also like, maybe they would yell. At least the sergeants know where the food is...
So it goes.
And, probably, I don’t have much sense to take a smartphone. There are two outlets for 50 people. So you have to turn it off. Well, unless they find me and transfer me to some other place. Army, damn it ... All my life, his mother, dreamed ...

March 17, 19:16
Fees in monologues and dialogues.
- Comrades! Real men gathered here, those who expressed their desire to help the Motherland fulfill the tasks assigned to us. Congratulations on your start! For us, this is a real holiday. True, there are those who did not want to join us and covered themselves with all sorts of certificates. We have already informed the prosecutor's office about them, let them sort it out!
____
In the dining room:
- Enjoy your meal.
- And you. Reservist? And how are you in the army?
- What a complete mess.
- And where did you serve urgently?
- I had a chair. And you?
- And now I'm serving. Here. Already 15 years.
- Ouch. Didn't mean to offend.
- Come on…
____
- Where is your commander's bag. What kind of boss are you without a bag? Shit, not the boss!
____
- And if the Americans are looking at you now from a satellite, what will they say?
- Urzhutsya and lose combat capability!

March 18, 17:14
In the bath. Cheerfully noisy busty aunt with a playful bun on her head, distributes soap the color of exquisite white moths, cheap water-soluble cotton washcloths and towels, purchased, probably, under the eyebrow-bearer Brezhnev. "Give back the towels, boys! I'll count!" I washed, I found an aunt, I was interested: "Where to throw the used soap and washcloth?" He gently hugs my shoulder: "What are you, dear, take with you! This is for you for the whole war, until the very victory!"
Profit. I will return home, to my family, with a new washcloth ...

March 18, 22:46
It should be noted that the life of the military is easier in some ways. Today they were working, and suddenly the diesel generator stalled. The officer-"owner" of the car was called to some meeting. I call and let you know.
- Stalled? So let the soldier top up the diesel and start it!
- He flooded. And it has no right to start without a master. He needs an order.
- So give the order! What are you murmuring about? You are still older than me.
Fuck. It worked.

20th of March
Two people in line at the cafeteria:
- F ****, again synthetic mashed potatoes with traces of stew. Fuck, fourth dinner in a row! - Well, why are you whining, it's the most edible of all.
- There is no intrigue, you understand? Before, at least it was here - I wonder what kind of shit they will slip tomorrow, but now it’s not.
- Do not yell, otherwise it will be an intrigue for you. And not alone.

20th of March
- Comrade officers, today we are going to the formation for classes in the form of "with a gas mask." Is everything clear to everyone?
Conversations in the ranks:
- I hope the brigade commander does not have a little son ...
- So that the elephants run? Come on, there will be television today.
- Believe me, television people are worse than children ...

The first treaty after the collapse of the USSR

25 years ago, in 1992, Minsk and Moscow signed the first agreement on friendship, good neighborliness and cooperation after the collapse of the USSR. Since then, there have been hundreds of official documents on deepening integration. The Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation are members of various associations, including with other countries of the post-Soviet space - the Union State of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the CIS, the EAEU, the CSTO.

"Russia is sacred"

"Russia is sacred for us," Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko repeatedly assured. In December 1999, he signed an agreement on the Union State of Belarus and Russia with the then President of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin. Lukashenka was eager to form an alliance with Moscow, hoping to become the head of this association. But with the coming to power of Vladimir Putin, Lukashenka's hopes collapsed.

Frenemies - Belarus and Russia

Union without an anthem

The Union State of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation has a common parliament, cabinet of ministers, the State Council and even the media. But there is no flag, coat of arms and anthem, and leadership is carried out on the basis of rotation. This union is not recognized as a subject of international law. In addition, Minsk and Moscow understand the meaning of integration differently. The Kremlin is counting on the political binding of an ally. Belarus, on the other hand, is seeking domestic Russian prices for gas and oil.

Frenemies - Belarus and Russia

Social package in action

Citizens of Belarus and Russia received real benefits from the Union State. In 2006, a package of international treaties was signed that confirmed the equal rights of Belarusians and Russians to freedom of movement and work, as well as in the field of healthcare and education.

Frenemies - Belarus and Russia

Trade as an engine of integration

Russia is the main trading partner of Belarus, for many years it has accounted for about 50% of exports and imports. The share of Belarus in the foreign trade turnover of the Russian Federation in 2016 amounted to 5%. The main articles of Belarusian deliveries to Russia are agricultural products, trucks, truck tractors and agricultural machinery. From the Russian Federation to Belarus are mainly oil, gas and ferrous metals.

Minsk calculates profits, while Moscow counts losses

The sale of oil products from Russian raw materials to the West makes a significant foreign exchange contribution to the budget of Belarus. For the export of these products from the territory of the Union State, Minsk pays duties to the Russian Federation. And in Moscow, they are counting the losses - the Russian budget in 2011-2015 alone lost $22.3 billion due to the agreement to supply duty-free to allied Belarus from 18 to 23 million tons of oil annually.

Frenemies - Belarus and Russia

Life on loan from Russia

Most of the external debt of Belarus falls on Russia and the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development, which also oversees the Russian Federation. In 2017, Minsk will return more than $1.2 billion to Russian creditors, and in 2018 it must transfer $1.5 billion - almost 80% of all debt costs. According to Forbes, over the past 10 years, Belarus has also received $60 billion in subsidies and discounts from Russia.

Frenemies - Belarus and Russia

Oil and gas wars

The history of the integration of Belarus and Russia was accompanied by oil and gas wars. Serious contradictions among the allies arose in 2006, 2010 and 2016. Minsk, in response to the rise in the price of Russian energy resources, threatened to cut off gas to Europe, introduced transit duties, and itself refused to pay. Moscow promised to cut oil supplies. The allies came to compromises, but conflicts appeared on other grounds.

Frenemies - Belarus and Russia

Food scandals

The Treaty on the Eurasian Union, in which Belarus and Russia participate together with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, from the beginning of January 1, 2015, declared the freedom of the market and the movement of goods. In fact, food scandals between Minsk and Moscow do not stop. Rosselkhoznadzor has repeatedly accused the Belarusian side of re-gluing labels and re-exporting sanctioned products from the EU and Ukraine.

Frenemies - Belarus and Russia

On the border of allied friendship

Although Lukashenka and Russian Prime Minister Chernomyrdin solemnly dug out a border pillar on the land border between Belarus and Russia back in 1995, in February 2017 the FSB demanded that the border zone and border control be restored. This is the reaction of the Russian Federation to the "visa-free" for foreigners introduced by Minsk. In the spring of 2018, Russian border posts will also be returned to the boundary. Russia introduced customs control there back in 2007.

Frenemies - Belarus and Russia

Atomic loan

State Corporation "Rosatom" is building a nuclear power plant in the Belarusian Astravets. Official Minsk claims that the nuclear power plant will reduce dependence on Russian gas. But opponents of the construction predict an even more dependent position of Belarus on Russia. We will have to return the $10 billion Russian loan allocated for the construction site and pay the Russian Federation for the purchase of nuclear fuel and then for its processing.

Military cooperation

After the collapse of the USSR, strategic military facilities remained in Belarus, subordinated to Russia on the basis of intergovernmental agreements. These are the communications center of the Navy in the Minsk region and the radio engineering center in the Brest region. Both objects are not endowed with the status of military bases, there are no lethal weapons. But experts point out that during the hostilities, these units will be subjected to the first blow.

"Slavianski Bazaar" in Belarus

The festival "Slavianski Bazaar" in Vitebsk was started in 1992 as a festival of arts, uniting Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. In 2001, Presidents Alexander Lukashenko, Vladimir Putin and Leonid Kuchma gathered here. The 26th International Festival in 2017 was attended by 4,000 participants from many countries. At the opening ceremony, Lukashenka likes to act as a welcoming host.

The "Black Cat" was led by a professional intelligence officer of Slavic origin, officer of the landing battalion Dahlwitz Mikhail Vitushko. Groupings "Cat" were divided on a territorial basis - its units operated in the south, in the center and in the north of the republic, the headquarters of the parent organization was located in the Warsaw region. The total number of the "Black Cat" by the summer of 1944 reached 3 thousand people, subsequently, newly arrived saboteurs, whom the Nazis trained in East Prussia, were enrolled in the detachments. The collaborators had radio stations, weapons, forged documents, medicines and money.
The command of the "Black Cat" decided not to arrange large-scale sabotage, believing that this could negatively affect civilian population Belarus, to provoke mass discontent with the partisans. And such unrest, in the first place, would be disadvantageous to the collaborators themselves.
As Belarusian emigrant publications once wrote, one of the main activities of the Black Cat was attacks on MGB prisons where political prisoners were kept. For example, in March 1948, Belarusian collaborators, together with detachments of the UPA (an organization banned in the Russian Federation), stormed the city of Novogrudok in the Grodno region, then attacked the barracks of Kobrin (Brest region), freeing several hundred prisoners.
In addition, the "Black Cat" was engaged in sabotage on the railway, carried out sorties to destroy soldiers and officers of the Soviet Ministry of State Security and party activists.
